Quote from: Legend on Feb 07, 2016, 07:29 PMDo you mean "tile?"

Would probably hurt resale a bit unless you can really pull off the high class/elegant look of that picture in your whole house.

If you're redoing the walls and care about sound though, you could always soundproof the walls before finishing them.
Yes tile. I've been doing that all day when I've been searching.  Makes it hard to find what you're looking for. Lol.

So I did a quick drawing in illustrator and printed out paper tiles to see how it would look. I think I really like it and also came up with a way to do it and easily convert it back. I'll simply put them on large panels, the panels will screw to the wall. When I leave if the new owner doesn't like it all he/she has to do is unscrew the panels and have the normal wall. No demolition, no mess.

I'm not sure how much it'll cost, but Sony showed off that near the wall projector at CES

I think I found my game room colors.

Mmm_fish_tacos

okay so I went and got some paint for the room today.

This is going to go one of two ways.

The wall with the window will get painted the dark grey the rest the light grey and my desk will be the dark blue. Or, the ceiling will get painted the dark grey the wall the light grey and my desk the dark blue.

What do you guys think?

Light grey.  Darker colours make rooms look smaller.

I'm having a hard time decieding on paint for this room. I'm just not sure if I like this. I'm also temped to take all off the texture off the wall too. But that would be a lot of work.

I'm thinking about doing a light blue on the ceiling. Just to make it look higher up.
