In the storyline, Dizzy currently exists within Ky's sword. Not sure if you know this but the two of them are lovers and Sin is their son. The guy they just announced will also be in Guilty Gear Xrd. I can't remember what exactly happened and I don't feel like looking it up but apparently she would have died had her essence not been transferred into Ky's sword.
