Guys remember. For a year media markt Germany was the main distributer for x bones to 2 tier countries. So that isn't how many people in Germany own them.
It probably has 50k or so designated to 2 tier.
That's what I believe it is.
Also why did that poorly executed animal crossing game sell that dang well in france.

Wait so 11.8 m US 725k fr 600k Germany probably around 2.5 million uk and we still think the console sold 18 million? There is no way it sold 2 million else where. This console isn't going dog 50 M lifetime

Well if you seen the 3ds install base it's almost at 5 million lol.
Tomadachi ife was 2014 runaway hit for Nintendo (that game did over 1 million in EU and it's still going (new ip btw for the west)

I've just noticed you have a tendency to post stuff as confirmed or fact when it is not.

In this case it is not confirmed that AMD are delivering the designs for the Nintendo NX. Is it likely? Sure.





Ok, here is my VERY ROUGH look at Xbox One sales LTD.

Ignore the UK calendar year sales. I've just added random numbers to get to a minimum of 2.4 million as that is the minimum LTD we can assume. The rest of the numbers are rounded and come from the NPD Group or GfK.



So we can see that 15.5 million is achieved through just 4 markets + launch period for 9 markets in tier 1. We can see that sales in GER, FRA and UK more than doubled in 2014 compared to 2013 (2 month launch period) which is to be expected. Therefore it is likely tier 1 markets that sold 610k in 2013 also more than doubled in 2014 and sold the same in 2015 as the others did. Especially as these tier 1 markets include countries such as Canada, South America and Australasia where Xbox has historically performed well. But even if we don't double the sales and assume that these 9 tier 1 markets sold 610k in 2014 and then in 2015 we still get an extra 1.2 million unit sales at the very minimum. And that's without even adding in or accounting for tier 2 markets.

Therefore it's not hard to believe that Xbox One sales to end users are easily over 18 million at this point with shipments north of 20 million.

I don't think XB1 will ever reach 100K sales lifetime. I've heard rumors of MS planning to pull out of Japan. While I'm not sure if it will happen, it won't be surprising. MS has done little to gain Japanese dev support and actually damaged its relationship with Square.
