5 consoles @ $350 = $1,750
5 TVs @ ~$500 = $2,500
total = $4,250
Still fairly expensive.
A gigantic waste, if people don't use the other 4 consoles.
I'd do it myself, if I had the money and was expecting people to use consoles like every day.
But aside from then, I can't imagine so.

Maybe buy the TVs and have it set up like that, but skip the consoles and have people bring over their own consoles.

If I was going to run a setup like that I'd have a different consoles on each tv. But have two playstations just so we could play the same game. But I'd wouldn't have a tv set up like that. Two at most and a drop down screen for a projector. But the management to get everything to work right would be a nightmare unless you had a dedicated console just for the projector.

I think I spent about 1500 on my first room without adding in the cost of the consoles and PC.

sounds like a bargain compared to the $27,000 my uncle-in-law spent on a stupid, pointless muscle car.
prostitution.
26 grand on a car in nothing really. And if it makes him happy. Who give a shame. My dad bass fishes and he spend that on his boat. Which get way less use than a car does. But he has had the same boat for 15 or 16 years.

Had it for a while actually. I dont waste my money on useless stuff ;p

Since 2013 if I remember right.

Either gonna build a new house at a new area or buy a pre-built new house at a new area.

Been waiting for more housing areas to be opened - gonna check again during Spring/Summer.

the point of this set up is allows for "couch coop" in a world that now only supports online coop.  if my friends actually lived in the same state as me i'd totally go for this kind of setup.  who cares if it doesn't get used everyday,.. the days what i can have my friends over and actually be able to play a game together would be worth it.

i was at my friend garrett's this holiday.  we reviewed our entire collective library and could only come up with 3 games that supported couch coop:  rocket league, towerfall, and lara croft and the template of osirus.   that's a sorry list.

we ended up taking turns playing super meat boy.

Plus depending on TV size and nerd level, it's actually cheaper to buy an extra TV or two vs getting an HDMI combiner.

I never said it wasn't cool.  I just think the price tag is higher than the value given.
It would be beneficial if the friends were to bring over their own consoles.
