Yeah, its beaten all the other estimates so far. I'll be surprised if it doesn't beat JW. Still amazing without China though

Liked it a lot, but the ending was a dud. My favorite part in the new Star Wars movie is when Spock tells Harry that he's Batman, and then they both go on an adventure to save Middle Earth. Only to find out that Middle Earth is actually this thing called the Matrix, where they go down a rabbit hole and a lion gets killed by a stampede of wildebeests. Harry of course kisses the princess and becomes the Avatar, master of all 4 elements!!!

Now we wait for the global number. If ROW is the same as predicted that is enough to beat JW. I bet it's even higher than predicted.

Edit: Oh, maybe they're using the same number still in the article. WW: $529m. 4.1m higher than JW, without China. In December of all months. The previous opening record in December was just over 100m (in the US) lol

SW also had like 140 less theaters than JW so the average per theater is significantly higher

the box office mojo article keeps mentioning 524.1m for SW but that's actually the JW number lol

Well I just saw it, fudgy amazing. Probably the best Star Wars film.

We knew it would beat those records, $529m without China is crazy!
