Polyphony Digital recently updated their website to reflect updated sales data for the Gran Turismo series as of September 30th 2015.

The series has now sold in more than 76.49 million units with the latest instalment, Gran Turismo 6, having sold in 4.71 million units worldwide.

Polyphony Digital recently updated their website to reflect updated sales data for the Gran Turismo series as of September 30th 2015.

The series has now sold in more than 76.49 million units with the latest instalment, Gran Turismo 6, having sold in 4.71 million units worldwide.

So the 7th gen GT's outsold the 5th gen GT's which had a higher install base to work with and only 7.5 million short of the 6th gen GT's which had an install base 70 million+ greater to work with.

dang Grand Turismo.
What were they thinking having it on PS3 at ps4 launch?
EU install base could be 3 million sales higher if they made the game ps4 exclusive.

GT5 is the second best selling GT!  
And GT6 only managed to do slightly better than prologue.

Does anyone know if Gran Turismo PSP was heavily bundled or something?

Website says it did 1m+ in NA but the game did crud in the U.S. (excluding bundles)

You know, few days ago I thought about making a prediction thread on chertz saying that the next PS4 GT would outsell all 8th Gen Forzas combined..

Do you know if this is retail only? Or includes digital? GT PSP has been frequently very cheap on the store and many Vita owners would have bought it too

Gran Turismo 5 was the best selling in Asia, and second in Europe, it was close.  Worst selling title in America and Japan though.
