I guess the question is how big is Black Friday in UK and the rest of Europe?

Well in the UK PS4 and XB1 did a combined 273k BF week (139k PS4 and 134k XB1) which is probably a similar boost to what the experienced in the US compared to the week before. Elsewhere will be much less  though. I'd guess US makes up at least 50% of sales BF week and on BF itself probably more like 60% for PS4. For Xb1 its more like 75-80%

Maybe 2M on BF week, not BF itself (so basically from 30.2 to 32.2 after BF ended).
Ps4's US ratio of sales is low..commonly 30-35% depending on the period. Should go up to maybe 50% during BF days.

When you did think nothing worst can happen with the moderation in this site... boom they get a new low level in a way I need to risk a new ban (or peharps a perma) to talk about this subject in pro of the community grow and safe.

 Censorship

 This is the new rule (not added in the rule pages) used by Mod Team to try to deal with considered (by them) bad users.
No matter you like me or not...
If you think my posts are offensive or too real to be accepcted...

 Censorship is something wrong.

 What is Censorship to begin?

 "Censorship is the suppression of speech, public communication or  other information which may be considered objectionable, harmful,  sensitive, politically incorrect or inconvenient as determined by  governments, media outlets, authorities or other groups or institutions." (Wikipedia)

 What the Mod Team is doing right now?

 Better than explain I will just copy/past the messages I'm receiving from the Mod Team to you VGCharter's user think about and have you own reasonable opinon about the subject:

 "You aren't getting moderated but I am now imposing a ban on all future  posts by you, you are hereby banned from mentioning anything to do with  the Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One or the Xbox version of any game, and any  Xbox exclusive, even if done respectfully, and even if you try to skirt  the rules by using implication rather than direct reference." (Mod 1 replying about the NPD thread where a big game indded flopped)

 "First of all, the topic ban still stands from me, I want you to avoid  referencing or making implications towards the Xbox console, or posting  in a manner which could be considered baiting, trolling or flaming  against Xbox fans on VGC, this isn't a permanent topic ban but one I  feel needs to be put in place for a while." (Mod 1 about the same subject posted  before because he just well thought a little more about the subject)

 "We are reaching our limit, ethomaz. It's time for you to change your  attitude towards general Xbox discussion or your access to these forums  will be removed.)" (Mod 2 with more blackmailed thinks about removing access to the forum)

 There are more discussion about but the key point was they are trying to censorship me using the word ban to put fear in people heads.

 What do you think the mod team needs to do?

 I don't know because I'm not in the position of the mod team but Censorship is not the right path to "promoting a healthy environment for everyone to post in". I always had the ideia I couldn't be a mod because I was too fanboy or biased to moderate others users.

 But today I think in my biased/fanboy way I'm too honest to be unfair with any side and maybe I could have done better ideias to create a mod team that do the right thing at the same time being repected by everybody.

 Anyway I can be tottaly wrong too and just create caos here...

 Why are you posting this in face a ban?

 I talked a lot with Axum in previous years about the moderation here with fair and reasonable discussion from both sides and I tried in a lot of years change most moderation way of thinking to create a better community but in the end I gave up.

 Not all the mods have the same way to thinking... some agree with me, others not.

 This time it was so low that I need to make this thread to alarm users for a possible Censorship happening in the future for others users... that is bad and it needs to be fight agains no matter how you like the Mod Team or not.

 So I put my dog on te front to recieve the hate and show the community something terrible wrong is happening here.

 What you do expected to happen?

 To be fair nothing... they maybe won't change their tone but at least I put in discussion with the community hopping it grows in the future and people learn from mistakes.

  

 Said that I hope everybody have a nice day discussing games sales (the main pourpose of this forum)... tomorrow is a new NPD day and I already can tell you guys disappointing things are coming again.

It was way hard before so I did lowered my thinking to not attack people feelings this time lol

Hm.. most interesting thing to me is that their previous PR statements are now said to be "based on internal MS data". I don't mean to say their data can't be trusted (or trusted less than Sony's), but it does confirm it is not based on NPD data or any other research firm. It also confirms they were talking about the whole week and not just the BF period..
