Worst genre

ethomaz

It is a MOBA.

And to be fair looks like it took a lot of influence from Destiny... the guy uses even the NOVA bomb.

There's way too many MOBAs out there. I'm worried that there's not going to be many people playing this game

Well MOBAs are the most popular genre on pc. If it becomes as popular on console I doubt you have to worry about that

Compared to the height of MMORPG popularity around 5 years ago, this is nothing. There is plenty of room for MOBAs to keep sprouting up for the time being. The quality MOBAs will retain players and those that don't do so well will die as their playerbase flocks towards the top. It helps that most of the really popular MOBAs are largely fantasy based. This makes room for more sci-fi oriented ones like Battleborn and Paragon. The real problem I see with Paragon is that its high-end visuals may cause a problem in the PC space. If the game's system requirements are too high for many PC gamers then it may very well rely heavily on the console gamers. That's a problem because, for now, all successful MOBAs have either had an exclusively PC gamer following or the console players represented a small percentage. Paragon might have to break new ground as a MOBA that got console players heavily invested. Enough to the point of sustaining the game. Adding to the problem, it already has more direct competition in Battleborn as soon as it releases. Epic Games needs to ramp up marketing for this game. Though that's one thing that Paragon definitely has going for it like half of the successful MOBAs. It has a well known and respected company behind it.

I feel like you think that Epic Games has only made exclusive games for Xbox.

Not even remotely true.

They even made games that came to PS3 first by months.

Unreal Tournament 3 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Epic Games, came to PS3 a month after PC and 6 months before Xbox.
Bulletstorm - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bulletstorm came out the same day on both platforms.
Also they announced a PS4 game a few days ago.
Shadow Complex - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
They and another developer.

To be fair, Epic Games never made a game for PlayStation that didn't also end up on Xbox, if my memory serves me. Add that on top of Epic making four exclusive games (Gears of War) for Xbox 360 and it's easy to see why people are surprised to see Paragon being console exclusive to PlayStation 4.

I know it's a bit surprising.
But, a lot of people seem to think that Gears is all that Epic has made, and naturally make the assumption that they've never made a PS game.

I know what you're saying. I'm saying cut them a little slack. They can't really be blamed when Gears of War was the rage and all anyone ever talked about from Epic. Unreal Tournament went MIA after Unreal Tournament 3 released 8 or 9 years ago and BulletStorm, released almost 5 years ago, largely flew under the radar.

You should cut me some slack!
I did not
-insult him
-make fun of him
-swear death upon anyone
-ban him from my birthday party
-etc

I only pointed out that the assumption, made by many, is incorrect.
