Yep. But 1080p and trophies wooh!

The 2 games I wanted most were Vice City and San Andreas so I'm very happy.

Would like to play GOW 1/2 and Shadow of the Colossus as well

Seems like it. I hope that there will be cross-buy with PS2 classics on the PS3. I personally didn't buy any, but there are a bunch of people who did and it would be a slap in the face if they are forced to rebuy.

Oh fudge yes! Twisted Metal Black! Wooooo! Also, Rogue Galaxy! I finally have the chance to play that game. I didn't even hear about it until years after I had moved on from Gen 6.

Not a fan of this decision for the people it affects. It doesn't affect me at all because I never bought PS2 games on the PS3. So for me this is a bonus.

Haha I didn't buy a single PS2 classic either.

Still have my PS2 hooked up.

8 games... yeah that pretty much strengthens my believe that getting a game on there takes more effort than we probably think.

Rorono

Effort or not, I'm glad I can play Rogue galaxy without paying an high price for used disc copies..
If the discounts on these are as good as they often are on ps1 classics (and Ps2 on ps3), even better
Still think they should either add one per month on PS+ or give one away for PS+ members only during PSX weekend.
EA gave us a bunch of shaming games last year, Sony should give a little something too.

Getting an emulator would not be difficult.
But that's not entirely what they are doing.  Much like how the PS3 store did not have a substantial number of PS2 games, it shouldn't be surprising to see that's how it is here either.
But that doesn't entail emulation being difficult.
The PS3 could play 100's of PS2 titles, but they only ever offered dozens on the store.

I'm so fricken glad that I didnt buy any PS2 classics off of PS3's PSN.

But I will buy some on PS4's PSN! Trophy + higher resolution touch up :O HELL YA

Rogue Galaxy and Dark Cloud are top of my wishlist.
