The top Individual purchase was a reply to "top console bundle pick".
Which is trying to confirm that the best selling bundle was the Xbox One Gears bundle.  While not saying that the PS4 lost.

I have no clue what infoscout are doing this year. Why not just provide us with the usual graphs?

I will wait for PR, if no PR then I'm waiting until NPD.

Ugh people, stop caring about info scout. They received 180k receipts last year and only 2k were related to games. Not just HW but games. It includes games as well. They aren't representative.

At least that's how I interpret it.

Also, it's submitted receipts. I bet if we all decided to DL their app and all buy the NDC bundle at Target on BF and submitted our receipts it would have impacted their figures.

Yeah I don't think they have a very large sample size when it comes to games, which is why amazon charts are a more reliable source of data to judge from. Still, its interesting to see.

And correction to above, it's 180k not 250k I got the figure from a post from teeqoz and didn't check. But I remember what he was referring to from last year.

This year they're claiming they got 300k receipts. I think less than 10k of those will be gaming related.... probably less than 5k tbh. Some people on gaf are really misunderstanding the sample size

Think at this point they are just teasing.

This is good.  We need all these sources getting people thinking xbox won November.  no meltdowns if they win narrowly but if they lose by a decent margin like we expect then there will be meltdowns galore.

Sony winning the culmination of October,  November and December when Microsoft released halo and Sony released a collection would be a massive win.

More importantly though,  Sony need big numbers to show the price cut and bundles worked.

I read their website. I think they are a nifty tool in some respects of market tracking. But sales figures and especially in gaming I wouldn't bet on them for. Especially on a non typical day like BF

Don't think the sample size really matters too much at this point.
