Here's the thing, 1 is the lowest you can go so while 2,3,4,5 can all by vying for a spot and you'll know from those 5 isn't as good as 4 but better than 6 and 4 isn't as good as three but better than 5 (and that's the key). number one can be far ahead and you'll never really have an idea because you don't have two points of comparison.

Yeah, which is why I was particularly interested to see the monthly chart update. I was fully expecting the Gears bundle to be ahead since its been doing well all month and the PS4 bundle had only been available for 2 days at that point. Seeing PS4 that far ahead was a big shock, I presumed the gap between 1 and 4/5 was less than it actually was

It did 2 million sold through by July. Considering how badly the broken netcode would have hurt legs, 1 mil launch seems possible.

That's including digital of course. With the ps+ discount, it would have had a lot go that way.
