They sold 4.3m from Black Friday to end of the year in 2014... so if they are up I can see more 5m... 40m is too crazy.

I'm wondering if Sony made a mistake with the price drop to 350.  Maybe next fall a hard price drop to 300 might have lit up sales more intensely.  Seems like the 50 price cut didn't do much other than lose money.

Wait for November and Dec sales to see what the effect really is

going into next fall still at 400 is a sure fire way to see ps4 sales die out.  $400 is just too much for some people to ever afford.  if you want more sales the price has to come down or it will just stop selling.

Productions shipments... it is how Sony reported until 2006.

Production shipments  = Sony produced and stocked on their warehouses
Retail shipments = What Sony shipped to retail
