I doubt chertz is right, they had the X1 ahead of PS4 for a few weeks before Halo and then on the week of Halo 5 LE bundle release the ps4 gets back to #1? Right.. Their numbers are all fudged up since the updates came back.

Well.... I don't know. GAME and amazon.co.uk websites have had xb1 on top for a while, its only recently that amazon have PS4 back on top and Xb1 is still on top at GAME.... that being said I don't trust the game chart thing very much.

Using more official sources, Gfk has more XB1 games than PS4 games in the chart and the most heavily bundled XB1 games are doing very well (XB1 fifa 16 is doing much better than PS4 version solely due to bundles for example)

Yeah I know but I think it will last for most of the holidays. Maybe 15m in total for this year

The whole Tomb Raider thing sucks for Chrystal Dynamics, cause it might actually have negative longterm effects on the Tomb Raider series, but I really can't muster any pity for MS or Square Enix, they completely brought this upon themselves.

Square learn to handle your game budgets better
Square treat your own IPs and their fans with more respect and don't just throw both of them under the bus for a big wad of cash
MS don't think you can just buy out an established multiplatform game for a couple months to go up against your competitors biggest release
MS don't think you can just battleship people into believing your deal is more than it actually is
MS don't think releasing everything in the holidays is some sort of certain recipe for success, if you can't find a good place for the game before Black Friday then release the game in December or January for gods sake, so what if that would destroy your "biggest holiday lineup in Xbox history" slogan, get another one, this one really isn't that great in the first place (Btw. I thought about this recently and Halo Wars 2, Scalebound, Gears 4, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3 and Forza Horizon 3 are all probably aiming at a holiday launch next year again, maybe ReCore too if it gets delayed like I'm expecting, it's like MS wants half of their releases to just fail).

Only the PC version of Tomb Raider will have a chance at doing well. The XBO and 360 versions only sold 51.3K in the UK combined and Battlefront is out tomorrow. If SE adheres to releasing the PS4 version a year later, then it'll get gobbled up by Horizon, the next COD, FFXV, The Last Guardian, and Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Overall, shame on Microsoft for paying to play keepaway and sending Lara out to die. Shame on SE for agreeing with the deal and its terms in the first place.

Ps4: NPD 2.1M, WW 7M.
X1: NPD 1.8M, WW 3M.

Can somebody say to this guy that we gamers that go to forums and talk about games were hardcores and a small part of the people that buys consoles.
And the majority of console owerns didn't even know how to buy things on PSN/XBL.
They are all retail.

And the news shows that... 600k digital vs 12m shipped... digital is really small... 20% is a way optimistic for games that have offline modes.
