Cool, I could read it but it took a while ;D

I guess that's why the guy in Love Actually goes to Wisconsin!

:D

It's funny.
2.7 bars for every grocery store.

There's a bar down the road, and I live in the middle of nothing.  :P
Then there's a town a few miles down the road that has like 7 houses, 2 bars, and 1 gas station, and that's pretty much it.

Wow, amazing!

I really wouldn't call that a town though

I'm exaggerating, but it's not actually a town.

Bars vs. grocery stores: Mapping America's beer belly - The Washington Post

Not exactly sure.
I'd guess any place, where the main function is to sell food.

Britain being home of the pubs. Spain being home of the tapas bars. Lovely

For the most part there's not a whole lot in the west.
Barring like 3 states and the west coast states, there's not many people.

Yeah I've seen on a map that its mostly desert and mountains around there. Still, that is a tiny population density in those states :o

America is so big and cool, so many different environments!

Yep those states are tiny. The state of Alaska has about 737,000 living on 660,000 square miles or 1,717,000 square kilometers.  They've grown quite a bit in recent years.
They had about 628k people living there 15 years ago.

I guess Alaska has an excuse, being very icy and all.
