Quote from: Legend on Nov 05, 2015, 04:53 PMThat was a pretty poor trailer. Kept a constant pace and didn't do a good balance between showing story and gameplay imo. Plus it recycled a bunch of old clips. I liked the E3 trailer a lot better.

Splitscreen isn't dead!

WOW!!  Don't think they've done split screen on PC!!!  :D
SO EXCITING!

Last gen market share was 50/50.  By the time Alan wake 2 comes out it could be 70/30. There losing a lot of cash ignoring the ps4 and who's to say Sony wouldn't offer to fund the ps4 port.

Isn't it pretty much that right now?

I don't think the PS4 has hit 70% yet, but it's pretty close to hitting that.

PS4 would need to more than double XB1 sales. I think it's about 2:1 right now or 66:34 or so

It's around 67% right now.

Microsoft pays for exclusivity so Sony can't just fund the port. Remedy would either need to go full PS exclusive, or find a third party publisher.

That's why I said pretty much.
66:34-> 70:30 isn't that far off.

Its a significant difference though. If it was 70:30 it would have doubled XB1 sales... I don't think it has quite managed that yet.

It'll happen though.  :)
What's the XB1 sales at the moment?

That's the million dollar question isn't it!

At a guess I'd say about 15-15.5m sell through

Mmm_fish_tacos

just got back from picking up cod, at my bestbuy it seemed a 50 50 split, and 4 ps4 sold vs 1 xbox.

They could each publish their respective versions.  Sony would be willing to just get the game and if Microsoft want it,  they might have to pay a lot of money to deny the ps4. As they've already lost they might not be willing.

I don't know where it is right now but i stand by my statement that it was 13.5-14M at the end of September. With PS4 at ~27.5M then

Well I'd guess PS4 is about 29m now so that works with your guess. I'd say XB1 was a bit higher than that at the end of September but I can't argue it when we have no figures to go by. I think it's safe to say about 15m though, meaning PS4 hasn't quite got 2:1. It may achieve that this holiday though, with the price cut. And if not, definitely by the end of March.
