I was looking at the OP for that thread, the Fallout 4 screenshots for ultra, just looked awful.  
I honestly thought it looked worse than Skyrim on PS3.  The grass and the buildings in particular just look like they took a step down.  Which is insane.  

But these look way way nicer.  So maybe there's hope yet.

The textures still look similar to me it's just they chose shots with different lighting.  

And you know what both ps4 and pc shots look absolutely fine.  Fallout 3 ps3 to fallout 4 ps4 is an excellent graphical leap and more than enough.  

I like some pretty graphics but I'm not a graphic joker.  I just don't get all the haters on gaf who were like,  oh I was going to get it but not anymore.  Seriously they prefer graphics over how the game plays.  

It's like someone saying they don't play payday 2 because it's got ps2 HD graphics.  I'm sorry but it's films you should be watching and not playing games.


Like I just read on gaf that Bethesda graphics were one of the only good things their games have left.  that place is infested with pc graphic whores and not gamers.  Thank God the average consumer doesn't give a fudge.

Alan wake devs have said yes to Alan Wake 2. These are the guys making quantum break right?  So it will probably be 4 years at least before Alan Wake 2.

It made sense for them to do QB with Microsoft especially if they predicted X1 would win this gen.  But now it's clear PS4 is dominating and by the time AW2 releases the gap will be monstrous.  

If Sony approach them about making AW2 multiplatform on PS4 aswell as the X1/PC I can't see them not wanting to do it unless MICROSOFT is willing to shell out a shame ton of cash.  

Considering they'll have lost against the PS4 a long time ago and the divisions new found focus on profitability (and spin) I can't see it happening.  

Remedy own the IP and Microsoft only have publishing rights to AW1 because they funded it.  I'm fully expecting this to come to PS4 and it night even sell more on there than on x1

Eh, Remedy is pretty friendly with MS. Only reason they'd ditch them as a publishing partner would be if MS refused to publish their game.

That video looks pretty good for the most part.  

Visually I think it looks more in line with the newer pictures I posted.

That was a pretty poor trailer. Kept a constant pace and didn't do a good balance between showing story and gameplay imo. Plus it recycled a bunch of old clips. I liked the E3 trailer a lot better.
