Be hyped but still have a sense of humour about the whole thing, that's the way I approach these shows. Remember there's no way that any conference will ever satisfy everybody (even for their E3 this year I saw a lot of complaints thrown at Sony), so you will always have these "the show was shame" comments. For me personally a good hypetrain is half the fun of a conference like this, even if the train crashes and burns I'll still fondly remember it.

My favorite comments were still how Microsoft "won hands down". Apparently nothing Sony showed could compare to the hype of playing 10 year old games and paying $150 for a controller.

yeah i love me some hype. however, i dont see much hype, just high expectations. its like "yeah, i expect X, Y, Z" and thats it. no enthusiasm or anything. personally i hyped for tomorrow. i like these conferences because they are entertaining. thats why i like them live too, its like i am  watching a show.

even last year, when they showed TLG, Shenmue and FF7. i dont a shame about either game, but it was great to have it in the conference because it was fun.

For me i have reasonable, yet high expectations. UC4 multiplayer reveal, Farcy primal gameplay (it has a good shot at being there) and hopefully Quantic Dreams new IP. as well as some Mid-Tier game announcements like Tearaway and Wild. that for me, would be a great show. (i dont care for the CoD, AC, and Starwars that will inevitably be shown).
