It's weird seeing tiranfall,  destiny and now halo have poorly executed campaigns.  These companies are not cash strapped.  Stop being so cheap and give us a campaign.

Rainbow 6 is another.

Destiny wasn't about being cash strapped. Destiny was because Bungie's senior management didn't like the story that was presented to them a couple months before release. It was basically piss poor management on their part. They should have known much further in advance if they liked the story or not on a project that expensive. Activision was good enough to give them a 1-year extension to figure out their fudge up.

Titanfall was either a design decision or a rush job. No real way to know. Respawn was a new studio without its own means of publishing. They're not like Bungie or 343i where one is huge and has a lot of weight to throw around and the other is under Microsoft. As things unfolded with Titanfall, it almost seems like Respawn was at the mercy of the deals EA made. This probably included Microsoft pushing hard for the game to release ASAP.

As for Halo 5, I really don't know what to make of the campaign. I'm not sure if they just had a Destiny moment where everything was iced and they had to scramble or if working on the MCC with other studios took away too many of their resources to work properly on Halo 5. Rainbow Six is Ubisoft being Ubisoft and continuing to shoot themselves in the foot.

I would say for Halo 5, Microsoft wanted to get the game out ASAP before the big hitting multiplats storm November. MS probably did not want to delay the game to let's say, early 2016, because consumer activity will be substantially lower than it is now. Also, without Halo 5, the XBO will be slaughtered for the rest of the year. Having marketing rights to Fallout 4 and timed exclusivity to Rise of the Tomb Raider are not enough to overcome Sony's $50 price cut, Battlefront marketing, and Black Ops 3 marketing.

You know what that gives me hope that destiny 2 will have a campaign worthy of the old halo bungies.

Different moderators.

The old ones just left it go but a newbie wake up and did moderate me for the first comment in the thread.

"Trolling (For this and other posts in the thread. You're here just to start trouble, ethomaz. This thread has nothing to do with Destiny, and it's certainly not the place to provoke Xbox fans. Not everything needs to be a console war. Not all things Sony need to be propped up by tearing down the "other." Take a few days to think about that, and come back better than ever.) ~ Veknoid_Outcast"

My comment:
So a joke single-player and a good multiplayer.

Maybe these Halo fans here can give some apologies to Bungie's Destiny... it will be fun to open old threads.
Seems like it will end at 83-84 Meta.

Ok I'm sorry but was this whole "Halo 5s campaign is twice as long as Halo 4s"-comment by some MS dude just a straight up lie or what?

Yes...

But to be fair the campaign is in line with avg. times of recents fps games... 5-7 hours... even in line with previous Halos.

It's still 85. Gamespot and IGN etc. could even raise the score (or lower it). Their scores have more weight than most on meta

I love your ban ethomaz. Just another inconsistent moderation. Trolling for the order was a lot more rampant and allowed. Also, it's always been accepted that conversation naturally changes topics. I can see why Destiny would be brought up with Halo.
