Looking on argos, GAME and amazon, there is some amazing PS4 bundles going in the uk right now. Game are pushing it a lot more than xb1 too

That's unusual for Game. Don't they normally favor Xbox with deals and advertising?

Yeah they do. Its really strange.

The best XB1 500GB deal is fifa 16 and titanfall for 319 or £10 extra for Gears as well. Meanwhile best PS4 500GB deal is Syndicate, Watch Dogs, Uncharted, Driveclub and 3 months of now TV for 299! That is no contest at all! That PS4 bundle is beyond insane too.

For 1TB, best XB1 deal is TF, fifa 16 and Gears 369. On the PS4 side, its Syndicate, Watch Dogs, Uncharted, Journey and 3 months of now TV for 329. No contest there either and another insane PS4 deal

By best I mean best selling... but also the best value imo

I now see why PS4 and XB1 are neck and neck on amazon now, GAME is doing incredible PS4 deals while amazon is doing better xb1 deals

Bo3 bundle moving up.  Obviously as a result of advertising ramping up.  Looking forward to seeing if star wars and fallout get big TV campaigns.

PS4 seems like it'll take the month. Expected that the Halo bundle would drop, but I thought other bundles would move up to take its place.

As you can see, I'm trying something very experimental. I thought it would be cool if we look at the rankings across all retailers and check on them periodically. The red numbers indicate the top ranking SKU from each retailer. I noticed that I missed a few XBO bundles, but I got too far into the table and I don't know how to add rows to an existing one...

I guess pre orders could swing it but it really doesn't look like it.  Xbox just can't compete when the playing field is even.

By the time November begins ps4 will have a huge lead thanks to pre orders from the 2 star wars bundles and the bo3 bundle.

I don't think Microsoft want to be hammered in such a big month so surely we'll see a $50 cut to even things up.

Halo bundle was like #30 on Amazon for August, but August is a smaller month. Bundle didn't chart in September.

So super duper guessing, but it's like there's an additional xbo sku at #50 for this month. Not sure if that's enough.

November will be absolutely crazy for PS4, but I don't think Microsoft cares. Profit is their goal.

The game, itself, is doing super well. Something tells me that this game will have a very, verrry high attachment rate.

Might even beat halo 1.

Rise of the tomb raider is #93 on amazon with 15 days until release.

Maybe it will pick up steam but honestly right now it looks like the stupidest exclusive purchase ever.  Microsoft spent a fortune only for it to have very little hype on its own console.  The majority of sales are on pc and ps4.

Square Enix obviously trying to live up to last gen when they did the same with many jrpgs.

Seriously,  know your market and your target audience because after the revival TR 2013 brought to the series they could be doing a lot of damage right now.

Tomb Raider was a smart idea IMO.

The purchase was great, game is coming during a nice holiday, and PR made everyone think it was exclusive. Problems only started in the last few months. PS4 port being officially revealed, releasing the same day as Fallout, not having a bundle, lack of marketing, etc. It feels like the title stopped being a major point for Microsoft.

There is a bundle, but it's limited to just the Microsoft store and Best Buy.

Yup. It's being used to push people to the store, not to push people to the game.
