LOL people who found the game early cannot play it online. 343 has them locked out.

Kinda odd that 343 is doing that but whatever. What's funny is how people on GAF are rabidly defending 343 for doing this, calling early buyers entitled and what not. Outside of stinkles comment which is just his usual, seems these defenders are just jealous that other people have the games before them. Crazy how much freaking hype there is in those threads.

That's kinda odd. One would think that accessing the game early will spur some positive word of mouth before the game officially comes out.

Those are stolen copies far in advance.

These are legit buyers that got the game a few days early. Can't think of a single other game to do this. Maybe destiny?

Just got my console (and I assume my account) banned from Live for playing Halo 4. - NeoGAF

At least one legitimate buyer got banned.
That only covers the Halo article I posted.  


GTA V got bans, but only if you shared images or videos.

First off, thank you for looking into this, and at the very least giving me a REASON for what the issue is. That said, if this is really their stance; they're a bunch of lying assholes. I have not ONCE been contacted. I have in no way been "uncooperative" because I haven't even had a chance to be!  Stinkles - prior to launch day - asked for a receipt; he said that a receipt dated on launch day WOULD be sufficient, and I was ASSURED that no retribution would be taken against the store on the receipt. I questioned the ability for such a thing to prove anything; but was told not to worry about it and that is all that was needed. Basically, it seemed, they just needed a "yes, $60 was dropped on this title" kind of proof. I provided a CRISP, CLEAR, LARGE, and LEGIBLE receipt on launch day, mid-afternoon. Nothing on the receipt is blurred. Nothing on the receipt is blocked out. And the receipt is in front of the open copy of the game.  To say I Photoshopped it is laughable - what a bunch of shame. So if they're claiming a picture of an "unaltered receipt is all that is needed for an unban", and that is all, they are LYING. Period.Since I haven't received a PM, can you please contact me and let me know what, specifically, in this case prevented me from being subsequently unbanned? I feel like there's a larger issue at play here that I am not being informed of. Also - for the upteenth time - believe what you want, but the game is not stolen. Period. Believe if you want - but it's BS to claim otherwise. Sorry I won't play MS's snitch. And yeah, I bought a new console - not cause I'm guilty and not cause I'm a "moron." I got ~$150 for my banned console and a few games I won't ever play again. It cost me a relatively small amount of cash to get a new console to enjoy my 60+ 360 titles; and I already had Gold cards laying around from last year's BF sales.[/b]

Again that's a stolen copy, or at least Microsoft believed so. Things like that happen all the time.

Halo 5 is blocking non reviewers/streamers from playing online. Nothing bad, but unique.
