@Tidux

He probably has some inside info, but he's so poor at releasing it. Most of his leaks sound exactly like what a non insider would say.

The Cage is ready.

Tidux just sounds like a hack.
he is a hack. he said that QD will show their next game at PSG. then he goes on to say that some game that was supposed to show, wont be there. so if QD shows their game, he says "told you so" and if they dont he says "told you so".

because he isnt. he makes educated gusses, thats it. anybody could have realistically said QD would be at PGW. half the internet is guessing that already, and shu basically teased it as well.

I remember with some ps4 update he had been hyping some feature, only for it to not show up. His excuse was that it was delayed last minute.

Don't remember which feature, but I do remember a dev internally echoed the same statement. So either that dev was clueless and just repeated Tidux, or Tidux has some legit industry access.

It was friend notifications. He claimed it was coming in a particular update and it didn't happen. He did also say a Twitch App was coming in advance of it being announced. A lot of people doubted him on that since PS4 already had a streaming section.

Cage can stay home for all I care :P

Give me Rime and WiLD info, especially a release date on the first one. And something cool from another Sony first party studio.

If Cage can give another experience like Heavy Rain, I'd prefer he come out of his house. Plus, he knows he has competition now in the realm of "interactive movie" games, thanks to Until Dawn. I'm just really hoping he tries to add a little more gameplay than his titles usually have.

If he does that then sure, but the moment it becomes apparent that the trailer for his game just focuses on some Hollywood actor that's in the game I will start rolling my eyes, cause I know where he's throwing his money again.

Yeah. Beyond should have made it clear to him that you can't just throw Hollywood actors into a game and guarantee a hit when your story is told in such a disordered mess.

Am I the only one that liked that about the story?  It's explained why it's told that way.

A significant part of playing a game is the journey to the end. I loved Mass Effect 3 even though I didn't like the ending. Because even a bad ending can be overlooked if you enjoyed the trip there. When the trip sucks you feel like you wasted your life to see a good ending you could have watched on Youtube to save yourself time and money.

Mmm_fish_tacos

Yeah, I enjoyed the trip, I like that you hoped around time. Then you get to put  the story together as it goes. It's far more interesting that way, than if you started out as a little girl and grew up. The remaster let's you play I'm "order" but I don't think it would be as good that way and you'd lose a lot of impact in the final act.

The main problems I had were that your actions didn't have as much consequence as they would've in Heavy Rain and the storytelling was inconsistent. For instance, the Navajo chapter was the longest, but it didn't have any bearing with the story at all. It felt more of a side story and really long one at that.

It didn't help that every chapter I had no fudgy clue where I was at in the story and how what I was doing had anything to do with everything else. Like Aura pointed out, going through entire parts of the game that had almost no bearing on the story was a questionable design decision. Especially when it was made a large part of the game. I was not able to enjoy myself because I was spending too much time trying to make sense of what the hell was going on and when. Heavy Rain was consistent, the choices you made felt like they mattered, the story itself was simply better, and the revelation more shocking to me.

Beyond had better elements than heavy rain, and heavy rain had better elements than beyond.

Combine the best of each and Cage would be unstopable!
