Wait, is WiiU identical to last year?
According to Nintendo PR it is but other sources say no

Maybe they were accidentally looking at last year lmao. What do other sources say?

That WiiU is down YOY
LTD gap of Xb1 and PS4 is 862k according to Cream, which using his pie puts WiiU much lower

I found Forza Horizon 2's NPD numbers on GAF. It sold about 120K last September with 5 days of tracking. That includes both the XBO and 360 versions.

As we already know, Forza 6 sold 195K including bundles with 18 days of tracking. So while Forza 6's numbers are higher, it had nearly 2 more weeks of tracking and Horizon 2 did not get the bundle treatment.

So Forza keeps getting milked and flopped
and yet Mario has had 5 games on wii u and it still does so well?

While Nintendo usually sticks with their usual IPs, they do mix things up, as they have done with Super Mario Maker.

Yeah, forza is just the same game over and over again with slight upgrades. Horizon does mix it up a bit but not enough. I think with racers, Driveclub's business model is the best. There's no need to keep making new games, because they'll be too similar. Just keep on adding plenty of content.

I too am compelled.

Do you think Polyphony Digital will go the service route with GT7 rather than the traditional two GT's per PS console?

I'd honestly love for them to do that and then use their extra time gained from that to actually make a different fudgy franchise. How long is Sony going to let them be a one-trick pony??

As soon as they stop printing money.

Gran Turismo 6 looks like it hit the brakes a bit.

I really really really really really really hope so. It would be awesome for GT, since it worked so well for Driveclub and as Raven said they could work on something new for once, which would also be awesome.

I'd love that.  Give GT7 two season passes and lots of free additional content over the life of the ps4.

Polyphony can focus on a gran turismo VR and by the time PS5 release comes around in 2020/21 they can have gt8 ready to go for launch with a proper Dev time behind it

I'd honestly Be pissed if they released GT8 in 2019 for the ps4 and we had to wait a few years to get a next gen gt9. Nintendo have it right with 1 Mario kart and 1 smash bros per generation.

I DID THE MATH!

Wii U 87k
XBO 288k
PS4 348k

I used Xevross's idea of assuming cream created the graph with rounded numbers. He found 2 possibilities that were really close to .0, but Cream's percents only have two decimal places. That gives an incredibly small amount of room to fudge the numbers either way. I ran the numbers and found a third solution that could hide within this margin of error. Since it perfectly matches the other info, here we go! XBO last year must have been calculated wrong.
