SW Battlefront: HYPE is ON!!!

Watched the livestream on the PlayStation Twitch channel and it looks like a lot of fun. The action is pretty much constant. There will be some cosmetic customization of your character and your character progression involves leveling up to unlock "star cards" which you then use an in-game currency to purchase. In-game currency is acquired as a percentage of your score for each match. You can carry three cards on you at a time plus a fourth which is acquired as a pickup on the battlefield. These cards are basically additional equipment or abilities. Grenades, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, shield generators, jet packs, etc. The cards you pickup on the battlefield are typically more powerful. When you use a card it goes on a cooldown. Ammo for your primary weapons appears to be unlimited. You do have a heat gauge that prevents you from firing non-stop. The game is also beautiful and runs at 60 fps.

me too. cant wait for the beta to try this. ughh.... i want!!! the game looks REALLY good but i am not a fan of starwars. if i enjoy playing it i will get this though.

i still cant believe how they managed to make this 60 FPS. it looks phenomenal. probably the best looking game this gen and its also 60 FPS.

mine was dragging along at 1mb a second for a couple hours,  then i walk past the tv and notice its going 7mb/sec   lol  just finished!
