just buy the starwars battlefront bundle then. its the same price and comes with Battlefront, and it also comes with 4 classic starwars games.

I dont want Star wars battlefront for PS4 though :/

Also I already have all the classic Star Wars games on PC (Steam and GOG) lol.

Huh, weird I was certain they'd wait till PGW for this... only a European drop at that event? I wonder how MS will react to this, I'm actually quite certain that they will also cut the price over the course of this month, maybe they'll do it earlier now?

If MS doesn't cut the price then that kinda opens up October NPD to be taken by the PS4 after all. This will be interesting to watch.

i think it will be after Halo 5 releases.  they just announced some bundles, would be weird if they go ahead and drop the price right after announcing them.

it would be a PR disaster if XB1 loses the month halo releases, maybe the biggest game that will push hardware it will ever get.

If Amazon is any indication, October NPD may have been taken by PS4 regardless. This might make it a certainty now even if Microsoft does a price drop. As far as why Sony didn't wait until the end of the month for the drop... I think they want to win North America this year or, at the very least, prevent Xbox One from having another stellar holiday sales run. They're in no danger in Europe outside of the UK.

So much salt over this just on Twitter. So stupid.

Could you provide a link? I can't imagine what Xbox fans would have to say about price cuts, the X1 had more than enough of those already after all.

Go look through the twitter posts from places like IGN, Gamespot, Game Informer, Polygon, etc. Plenty of comments to be seen from Xbox fans.

"Doesn't matter because PS4 has no games", "Hey PS4 fanboys! Doesn't this mean Sony is desperate?!", <insert implication that Halo 5 is all that matters>.

How can you not imagine fanboys acting like fanboys?

EDIT: Wow. IGN and Game Informer removed a ton of comments. There is now a 3 hour gap in the IGN comments if that tells you anything.
