Even if there is no official cut, it shows retailers are a lot more willing to drop price than last year.

So Japans first week with the PS4 price cut will be out later today, any predictions for PS4 hardware?

Raven

Looks like Amazon ran out of their own Taken King PS4 bundles. They're now selling through third-parties at greater than $400.

Well with a start like that the pricecut is going to have a hard time keeping the PS4 alive for the rest of the year.

Why did all the big PS4 games for Japan have to be delayed out of the year?

Pretty sure Japan has a bigger holiday lineup for PS4 than the West does. Also, plenty of those 2016 games are releasing early next year. Like Star Ocean, for example. I think the price cut was just to squeeze some extra holiday sales out. Next year is practically the "Year of the JRPG". I think we should wait until after 2016 is over to fret over Japanese sales.
