Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
Rise of the Tomb Raider
DLC Pack
1 TB HDD
$399

Available only at the Microsoft Store and Best Buy in the US. Not sure about stores in other countries.
Called it! Super obvious, but still!

Bundle is too expensive though. Gives me the feel Microsoft isn't dropping another $50 off this holiday. That'll kill their chances of winning :(

They will, in November

That depends on if they're willing to lose a ton of money for only a possible victory during the holidays.

Ummmmm.... isn't TR: Definitive Edition given away via Games with Gold now?

Yep.
But now it's part of the bundle!
Wooh!  Savings!

Also, it's only going to be on for a few more days.

Well that bundle isn't very impressive at all. If that's what it sells at during November I don't think it will do too well. I guess the others will have similar value, so we won't see below 349 and if we do see 349 it'll only be one game. November will be PS4's to lose if this is the case. I'm sure BF deals will be amazing though.

Eh they can still announce a "temporary" cut or a "holiday cut"

It needs to be more short-term than the price cut MS had last holiday season, in my opinion.

On one side, they can try to ride out the $349 entry price (with a Black Friday discount) throughout the holiday season, but risk losing to the PS4. On the other, they can do a holiday season-wide price cut again, but risk a large drop in sales beginning January.

If I were MS, I would try to find that sweet spot in between the two scenarios. Have a price cut that increase sales, but not for such a long duration that will lead to a massive sales decrease.

Well I did not see this bundle coming but I'm really curious to see if a bundle with a bunch of old games will sell.

I don't expect this one to be popular.

the-pi-guy

Think that bundle is much much better than the other one.
1 brand new game vs 34 small old games + 1 small newish game.

Wonder who will win!

Aura7541

The value of the bundle is good, but nothing earth shattering.

Xevross

That bundle isn't going to push many xbox ones. I think it only provides good value for those who wanted one anyway.
