Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (GOTY, 93 Meta)

I'm still nowhere near getting to finish the game, since my lesson plans have taken the better part of my life this past week, and probably next, so I have no idea what Kojima is doing in Phantom Pain; but Kojima is a genious.  Like, people complain about MGS 2, but when you actually delve deeper into the game, it's arguably the greatest game ever made.  Not for what it does in game, but for what it does out.  

On another note; do I have to have Ground Zeroes fully finished for my save file to have any use?  Or can I just import my save and get whatever it is I'm supposed to get?

You at least get the sneaking suit and the prisoners you had saved in gz regardless of your completion, I think. Got Kojima in my game lulz

Kojima can also be saved in PP, if you miss him in gz.

I didn't save much .  That's why I was asking.  Which sneaking suit?  Cause I have the MGS one made (Not using it BTW).  Is there a specific mission in Ground Zeroes I have to do to get Kojima?

You rescue him as a prisoner.

You get 2 kojimas.  I got Kojima with the GZ save but I got a variation on that side op aswell.

Really great that everyone is enjoying the game.  
I'll join in a few months unfortunately. Being really frugal with my money for the foreseeable future.
Hoping it hits 30$ at some point.

I just can't stop playing the side ops.  I've completed about 60 of them but only 23 main missions.

On the plus side I'm upgrading and developing at a fast pace.  

I like the way games like mgs and gta release their proper online months after release.  

Gives everyone time to enjoy and complete the single player and stops any online only players getting a major headstart.

Also less stress on the servers than if they launched it day 1.
