Same.  We obviously play it the way it's mean to be played!

Ditto.

Although for one mission I just beat it in 5 minutes haha. I think if I was slower, a more complex scenario would have showed up.

I tend to fudge up too much though lulz

Yeah there's too much fluff.  Once you overtake a base enemy counts for side Ops should be lower.  I understand full enemy placements for missions, but I must have raided the same base at least 5 times and fultoned the same soldiers again and again.

Same base, but not the same soilders.

Why would enemy counts be lower? Capturing an outpost means you've temporarilly defeated/disabled all enemy forces there. It's simply to let you know you're safe to run around and find loot. The same outpost can be captured an infinite amount of times.

It's not like infamous or other open world games where you are clearing out sections of the map and slowly taking control of the world.

When I say same soldiers I mean same positioning.  I'm also saying it's bad game design.  The biggest problem I have with MGS 5 so far is the repetition. Capturing the same base an infinite amount of time is boring and annoying. Peace Walker is similar in design and it isn't anywhere near this repetitive.

I've yet to see the same positioning.

Also If anyone can answer this without spoiling I'd appreciate it.

After mission 30 you need to play a lot of side ops or replay missions under stricter conditions to unlock the last few main missions.  Why is that?

Enemies are always in the same position at bases.  They walk around but they're always in the same walk path.  I didn't get far enough, but I'm assuming they're using an old gameplay design that was more or less abandoned.  They want you to replay missions a certain way to fluff the game.  No other reason.

Bruh, those guys spent years figuring out the best walk path and regardless of failures still believe it is their best strategy.

I think I've only infultrated the same base up to three times, and lots of times the enemies are in different places too.

Repeating missions though, yeah that's kinda annoying. I like them being in the game, but they should simple be options for all completed missions. As is they do feel bloaty. I've been ignoring them.

That's why I was saying earlier,  once you clear out a base the base should have a lower enemy count. I cleared the base already, I don't wanna do it again the next 5 times.

Game wise that makes sense, but realistically there should be more people.

Because no one is going to say "oh, this base was taken over, we should put exactly the same number of people as last time".
Really it makes more sense for
" double the defenses!!!"

And after you've invaded a certain amount they beef up the securitypersonal.  I was like dang that's very realistic.

If you do it too often at night they give them night vision goggles
