Uncharted fans — we have a new PS4 bundle coming soon to celebrate Nathan Drake's legendary adventures. The Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PlayStation 4 Bundle will include a 500GB PS4 and the first three, critically-acclaimed Uncharted games for PS4.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PlayStation 4 Bundle

The single-player campaigns for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception are all included as part of this bundle. You can get your hands on the bundle when it launches on October 9th, the same day the collection hits, for $399.99 US / $449.99 CAD (MSRP).

The bundle is great for Uncharted fans who want to relive those epic moments of Nathan Drake's globe-trotting adventures on PS4; with beautifully remastered graphics, brand-new game modes, and a host of gameplay refinements that evolve all three games.

It's also perfect for anyone who wants to uncover the story of the famed fortune hunter for the very first time before the highly-anticipated release of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End on March 2016. The games look incredible on PS4.
As an additional treat, here's a first look at our TV spot for the collection, which will air nationwide starting this Saturday.

Be sure to check back on PlayStation.Blog for more Uncharted news. So tell us, what's your favorite Nathan Drake moment?

So no price cut until then at least! Still hoping for a PGW price cut announcement! I know a load of people who have or are getting a PS4 so I'll make sure they play this. It's a crime if you don't.

They'll milk the $400 tag as long as they can. This makes me feel even more confident that the price will drop late October at PGW. They still haven't announced the price for the Battlefront bundle as far as I know. There's no reason to keep that a secret unless the price is going to be different and they're waiting to announce it. It would also be a great way to counter the Halo 5 hype.

I think they will save a price cut until next year.  Originally they most likely wanted to do a $50 cut this year but are probably going to hold out until E3 next year and cut it by $100.

If they're planning another 10 year life cycle and 8 year cycle before the PS5 comes out they won't want the ps4 getting too cheap too soon.

Waiting any longer to drop the price may have a significant negative impact on sales this holiday season and going forward. It will be two years this November since the PS4 released and it has yet to receive an official price drop. For many consumers, it's time. Dropping the price even by $50 right before the holidays would likely cause a sales explosion and certainly an increase in consistent sales throughout at least the next year.

When you reduce the cost of something you make it more available to people with more limited disposable income. I would argue that one of the few reasons, if not the only reason, the Xbox One is still in the game in North America is because of its price drops last year that put it in a better range for more people. Sony could completely bury Microsoft by this time next year if they drop the price by $50 now and then by another $50 next year. You don't drop the price of a console in early Summer unless you're desperate for sales or you're stupid. The best time to drop a price is right before the biggest shopping month of the year, not right when the market hits the dead season.

We don't know what their timeline is, really. I seriously doubt there is any concern to the PS4 becoming "too cheap too soon". Dropping by 100 dollars after a few years is generally what people expect anyways. There wouldn't be anything wrong with the PS4 being even $250 after 5 years. By that point people are expecting news on the next console anyways. If I remember correctly, the PS3 was at $300 for quite a while.

It just doesn't make any sense for them to NOT announce the price of the Battlefront bundle unless it's cheaper and they're waiting for a certain time to announce it. Especially when they just announced an Uncharted collection bundle for the same $400 tag we've seen since Day 1.

I think they will at least give it a temporary price drop this holiday in the US

I think they'd be crazy to not, at least, do this.

No other console, except the Wii, as gone this far without getting a price drop. I'm sure that Sony will announce a price cut at PGW. It's a big event on the day Halo 5 releases.

yeah price cut on the same day as halo 5 release would be a good counter. though IMO they should cut it a few days earlier to counter the Halo 5 hype better.
