i don't think there is any bias for until dawn but i think their system as a whole is pretty biased.   there are no rules for what sites count or don't count.  they will make up scores for reviews that don't have scores.  they don't update the score if the reviewer updates their score.  all together its just hard to take them seriously.

Until dawn had the same weekly sales on comg as splatoon.  so a possible opening week of 20-30k. Very good for Japan.  

However I wonder about its digital sales.  The ratings on the American store are waaaay higher than the European store.  I understand it released a few days later at least on the store so either Americans are buying it a lot more or else most Europeans bought it in store.

Metacritic also weighs each site's score differently. Reviewing a game is subjective enough and when you also apply a subjective algorithm, the entire picture gets convoluted.
