Nothing what I said was anti-american o.O (also so much for freedom of speech eh?) because its the truth lol. Out of all the places I've went to in the world - the US is the only place I've actually heard this argument of the Earth being 6k years old. Not sure if they were serious but thats just silly.

No one in the east (at least from where I'm from) believes the earth to be 6k years old. That is just a fairy tale made in the west honestly I think and honestly never heard anyone else say that (other than on the Internet).

Whats wrong with being religious?

I searched in Google for "God" - I dont see anything hilarious about it? Care to explain your hate culture?

Also for saying I am anti-american...

QuoteAnti-Americanism, Americanophobia or anti-American sentiment, is dislike, fear or hostility toward the United States or the American people and their culture, business practices and technology, or the policies of their government, especially its foreign policy.

^ That seems like the definition to Anti-Americanism - at least according to Google.

Unfortunately for you - I am nothing like anything in the quote specifically culture, technology and policies wise.

Maybe I dont know...cause I live in America and am an American >__>?

PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPS - dont bother commenting - I'm not even gonna respond to your hate posts anymore. You are no different than how you were on VGChartz - a bigot, no more, no less.

And I'm an agnostic atheist. It also looks like Max wasn't joking... :-\

What light? Stars radiate due to reactions in their core.

wasnt the big bang an explosion? wouldnt light radiate from that explosion?

are you muslim or christian?

also, does the bible its self specifically state that? from my personal observation it seems that mostly christians from USA believe the world is 6k years old. here in jordan no one seems to mention it or talk about it.

actually from what i know, from some documentaries i have watched, it was a scientist who said the world was 6k years old, and his reference to this was the bible, where he tried to figure out the age of the earth by seeing how old the stories were in the bible, and the oldest story was 6k years ago.

They got that idea from tracing back Adam to when the earth was created... Which was 4k BC... But I don't know anywhere in the Bible where it says that even... So it's a scholarly guess

Kinda?

It wasn't until 380,000 years after the big bang that light could actually act like light.

Technically, it's more like a rapid expansion.

though technically it was light? but it couldnt act like it?

apparently this turned into its own thread. though since this was from the beginning about Christianity, Evolution and atheism, i wanst interested in arguing or discussing for either side, but more interested in just reading peoples opinions.

The light would be coming from the particles, which doesn't change what I said. It wouldn't be enough to light up earth at all without something close like the sun though
