JW becomes 4th highest grossing movie ever. Just overtook F7! Also over $900m in "foreign" gross and over $600m domestic.

This weekend it made about the same domestic as Avengers 1 did in the same weekend and is still $40m ahead. Looks like $650m+ should be easy.
I think it also has yet to open in Japan so I will not admit defeat yet!

Haha $650m+ isn't easy, it's expected. $645m-$675m is what we're looking at domestically. Right in line with my $650m prediction.

Foreign is where Jurassic World is laughing at me. It's doing much better than I thought it would.

I don't think it has a chance to go as low as $645m. Avengers did $621m iirc and JW is tracking similarly right now but is still $40m ahead. The minimum is $650m and it will likely get to around $660m based on that.

I think JW can be quite big in Japan. Wonder how high it can go.

It's tracking similarly but that's not guaranteed to hold up. JW released a month later, and 2015 is different than 2012. 645 is just a worse case scenario.

Hmm I doubt Japan will care for it. The dinosaurs aren't as cool as Godzilla. /s
