Only way it could be topped is if Crash returned to PlayStation, Half Life 3 was announced, Agent was finally unveiled, and I think you'd need 1 or 2 other big games.

Looking back, I have no clue why I didn't give this a 10 straight away. I guess I wasn't so hyped for Ff7 and shenmue so I didn't appreciate it at the time

Yeah that's what I was thinking. At first I just thought about what it had for me and since I wasn't hyped for a lot of those games I didn't think it was the perfect problem. Then I realised there will never be a "perfect" conference where every game shown is suited to me.

There was plenty for hardcore gamers and more casual gamers as well as families and fans of all different genres, it was extremely well done.

This is how conferences should be judged, in my opinion. I've watched a lot of conference reviews on YouTube and everyone makes the common mistake of judging based on their personal preferences. The end goal of these conferences is for the companies to sell their products to as many people as they can. How do you do that? By appealing to a wide variety of audiences.

Well what could we have next year? GT7, GOW4, Bend's new game, SP's new game, QD's new game, more info and gameplay for horizon/ tlg if they aren't out yet + third party stuff. In terms of announcements that make people go crazy, its impossible to beat this year's. In terms of quality and number of new announcements, its possible and I think if they managed to do all of those things it might just do it.... but I don't think that will happen

The thing is that Sony really had the element of surprise going for them. Who would have expected TLG, FFVII: Re, and Shenmue III (KS) to all be in one conference? Sony can have as good of an E3 conference as this year's in terms of quality, but not overall because it will be a less surprising conference.
