Get with the times.  Even the Wii-motes were a mistake (ate least, every NIntendo friend I have says this now...)

It's old news though. In a world without ipads, the wii u would be selling great I'd bet. People would love the idea of a "tablet."

Instead what we got was the wii u being announced over one year after the iPad was released. Nintendo wasn't innovating like they had the gen before. By the time the Wii U had released, the iPad had already passed 100 million unit sales.

They never said Sony and MS specifically. They said "competition". Apple is included.
