Too many times, threads will get derailed and someone continuously post inaccurate information or malformed opinions. The GAF mod team does a good job cracking down on users who shame post. Even though it's an unspoken rule, it has been shown that it's effective and keeps threads on topic despite GAF's high activity.

I'm sure the Chartz mod team will argue that enforcing an anti-shame posting rule is too complicated as it is a subjective issue. However, a line needs to be drawn. I still see threads getting derailed, trash threads being made, and certain users constantly posting inaccuracies.
Too bad some on the mod team actually condone shame posting and do it themselves

Quote from: Max King of the Wild on Jun 26, 2015, 05:33 AMDude, the shame posts are awful on Chertz. I have never read a The Sting comment that was actually useful to a conversation. And if you directed a comment towards him then you'd end up with the ban.
Yeah, that is really annoying. I don't see TheSting that much, but much of the comments I've read from him are just... inaccurate. Users like him do believe in what they say, but I think they constantly state inaccuracies because they also know it makes people lose patience.

Yep. I don't like to point fingers, but Starcraft, in particular, is most guilty of this. This is something that won't resolved anytime soon on VGC. I like most of the new mods, but they and the rules can only do so much.

I noticed that the mods on VGChartz are more like users with a hall monitor badge.

In other sites(Or at least most other sites I've been to) a moderator is supposed to represent that site, and one slip-up can cause an uproar with the users, sometimes ending with that moderator losing his/her position.
