Plus 4k is awesome. For your gaming desk that sounds great.
340

and actually it's not 4k it's 2560 x 1440

is 2560x1440 a noticeable improvement over 1080?

I just picked up Project cars on pc thanks to the steam sale. It's seems like a really good racer so far. I wish i could connect my wheel but the stupid clamp it came with wont work on this desk. I'll have to figure something out with it. And i think i'm missing a cord. I have to find that too.

Yes 1440p is noticeably better. :)

I personally can notice the difference pretty easily. It's not 1080p vs. 720p huge, but you do get more detail.

I've come to the conclusion the nividia's drivers are also shame. So i guess i made the mistake up leaving my monitors in extend mode last night and letting the computer go to sleep. Come home today, try to turn it on and no video on the screens. So after fiddling around a bit i left on hdmi unplugged and got video on one screen, made sure extend was off and plug the hdmi back in and it shut off both screens, tried again on the second gpu. Same thing. So I then used windows tool to set everything up and it's all back to normal.

Nvidia drivers sometimes make me scratch my head. I had problems with the GPU recognizing my older TV with sound all of a sudden when it had worked for months before that.

Playing Age of Empires HD.
They really messed something up.
It seems like every few seconds, there's like a microstutter.  Everything just stops for a fraction of a second.  Not a deal breaker, but it is slightly bothersome.
I think this is because of the AI.

I'm not entirely sure, but AI seems to be slightly messed up in other areas too.
Most of the time, there is no trouble.  But something I noticed when I tried to send some horseback riders after a moving object, they stuttered.  The game itself didn't stutter in these cases.  But they'll walk a little, stop, walk a little, stop.
Wondering if the search algorithm has some issues.  Recalculating every few steps, maybe there's an issue with how it's being done?

Overall aside from the hiccups, it's been pretty great.

What happend to my download for batman. I was downing loading it before i left and it said an hour. I just got back, and it says 55 mins. This is the longest it's ever took to down load anything from steam.

No idea.
That's weird.
I've been downloading it for 5(?) hours I think so far.  About half way done.
Were there other games in your queue?
It seems like sometimes other games pop up to first randomly.

No, I downloaded Pcars yesterday. It took about 30 mins to down load 17 gigs. This is just double the size. Maybe people are all downloading the same thing causing speeds to crash. Yeah, i'm only getting 2 MB a second now.
