I don't like Polygon but there are hyping Destiny... I know I'm hypocrite.

Hands-on with Destiny: The Taken King and Bungie's return to its Halo roots | Polygon

Quote"We listen to the community a lot, about what people want to do, what they're enjoying, what they're not liking," Mark Noseworthy, the expansion's executive producer, told Polygon at E3 2015. "Some of it's our own inspiration, because we, too, are part of the community. Not only are we making the game, but we're also playing it."

On Sept. 15, 2015, when the third expansion, The Taken King, is released, Destiny is going to change again. It's based on the idea of bringing new and different things to the game, including a new campaign. At E3, we played the first slice of the expansion's new campaign. Based on what we saw, this time it's going to change in ways that will make people who are confused about its story — and particularly fans of developer Bungie's former franchise Halo — very happy.

Gamespot loved the new story campaign too.

QuoteThe epicness is there.

I started playing again after I bought House of Wolves. I can tell just from that expansion that Bungie is ramping up the game.

Well at least you can buy the game and all the expansions at $60 now... it is a really good deal for new owners.
But I do think the original buyers are a bit expensive... I need to expend $40 to upgrade to Taken King :(

yeah, for the people who bought it at launch (me). why am i getting screwed over with the pricing? if i really wanna play everything its 140$ bucks for everything. fudge THAT.

next time i will wait a year, and buy the full version with all the expansions for 60 or so. and that will have a decent amount of content.

I find it unusual that the early adopters are getting the shaft when they should be rewarded.

its annoying, honestly it is. i bought Destiny at launch, i played it a lot and enjoyed it. recommended it to a lot of people. but then it just gets way to expensive, and early adapters are given the shaft big time.

dont get me wrong, i am happy with my purchase and it was worth it. i played around 50 hours of destiny probably. easily worth my money.

but for a game like destiny, the content is honestly on the low side, and other than a few free multiplayer maps, they didnt give any new content for free. OK, fine, they dont have too, but the new content is just so fudgy expensive. it really is. and instead of having price cuts on the old DLC, they are basically forcing us to rebuy the game. 60$ for the game and all the DLC, OR buy all the DLC for 20$ each for the new expansion and 40$ for the new one. what?! thats 80 bucks!. this is just iced up. i liked Destiny, and i was hoping it would be a franchise i can commit to. but fudge that.... Bungie and Activision pushed me away.

Seems like Bungie will review that... give something from the digital CE edition for old Guardian buyers.
