When FFVII Remake was announced, it was trending like crazy on Facebook. Sony's conference created so much buzz that Canadian and British media took huge notice of it. Also, there are so many reaction videos. Huber on Gametrailers, AlphaOmegaSin, MaximilianDood, all huge sites or Youtube channels.

By the way, is anyone surprised at the amount of views Gears 4 have gotten? Considering this is one of Microsoft's flagship IPs, I thought it would exceed 1 million views easily, but it hasn't even gone over 0.5 million...

Could be because Halo is a trailer, while gears is just gameplay.

Also I'm worried some of these videos are playing as ads. That'd really mess up the stats.

EDT: yup. The star wars video with 7m views is a youtube ad. Its views are artificially inflated and it cannot be compared with anything else.

Left in rainbow since it's a pain to remove vids. Added cuphead. Game looks amazing.

Uncharted overtook TLG, not surprising. I expect lots of people are telling their friends to watch it, I know I am. Next, horizon may overtake halo which would be completely crazy if you think about it.

the uncharted 4 gameplay from PSX has 5 million views, and thats 13 minutes long.

honestly i am. gears is huge and has a big fanbase, i guess people werent impressed, and more focus went to the sony conference. still very surprised honestly. im also surprised the BO3 video doesnt have much hits.

Yes gameplay can get a great amount of views, but the gears demo was slow and boring. A nicely cut trailer of it would trim the fat and be mutch more watchable.

Plus just looking back, the demo was horrible. 90% was them slowly walking around in boring environments with uninteresting characters. It ended with a short bit of combat but that combat was classic gears with poor amounts of action. This type of pacing will be fine when actually playing the final game, but it sucks for a demo.

Also looks like tlg and u4 will pass two million today.

I agree with the gears 4 demo. One of the most underwhelming moments of the conference and a bad way to finish. Just compare that demo to Horizon or U4..
