Quote from: Pezus on Jun 17, 2015, 01:53 PMWow, I can't believe how good this game looks! Both on a technical AND artistic level! Robo dinos is just an amazing concept lol. So is it confirmed to be an RPG?
yes.

"open world action RPG"

its been in development for 4.5 years. started with a group of 20 people. slimmed down a bit with the release of shadow fall. full team is working on it now.

you can upgrade your weapons

"seamless" open world

lots of quests

Just looked over the GAF thread for E3 game of the show. Holy fudge you weren't kidding. Horizon is getting an almost unanimous nod. About as close as you can get for a game.

Aura7541

Yeah, the amount of recognition Horizon is getting is very well deserved. Its unveiling couldn't have been executed better.

Yeah, focus on gameplay mechanics and design first. Game looks awesome./

It's very strange how the large dinobots walk by lifting both legs on one side at the same time.

Quote from: Raven on Jun 17, 2015, 01:22 PMAs it should. This game looks incredible. The fact it can still get attention after three bombshells in the same conference tells you just how big of a deal this game looks to be. I've said it before and I'll say it again. This game was better than every game Microsoft showed combined. Guerrilla may have found their true calling.
I liked killzone but yeah. Incredible showing.

To me, it sounds like Guerrilla is bringing in exactly what it needs to make this game fantastic.
They've always had the visuals down, the technical stuff.
And it sounds like they've brought in exactly the right people to make sure the story is well done as well.
This and Uncharted 4 are the two games I'm most excited for, easily.

Robot dinos, archery and mystery in 'Horizon: Zero Dawn'

"There's much more mystery in Horizon. Guerrilla has crafted an expansive, fully explorable world -- Aloy can travel to every point she sees, including to the tops of distant mountains, the studio says"

I think the world is like assassin's creed, with many huge big areas. Not a single open world.

Also I love how they perfectly matched the concept art.

Concept art had 3 fellow hunters... make it happen Guerrilla. I've got all my friends hyped about this, now I need to play co-op with them!
