Oh shame and almost 100 reviews already. Do you need to play the original for this? Never really got to it

All you need to know is that a massive explosion blew out everyone's inner ear so it became much harder to walk without falling over.

I mean probably just to know the story, but there is probably plenty of story overviews out that would get you up to speed on it.

Played about 60 hours of Hollow Knight.  

I am basically in the endgame. 

Doing a bunch of the side quests, beating some optional bosses. 

Not sure if I'll platinum the game, but I might. Kind of depends on how big of a pain some of the last items are.

But wow, I guess I didn't realize reviews were coming out today.  8 points higher than the first game which is pretty incredible and not many studios accomplish that.

Yeah and this is after kojima reworked the game because it was too popular!
