Witcher 4 is a go. Cyberpunk has so many problems besides glitches so I'm not sure I'm hyped, but Witcher 3 was great...

Whats crazy though is despite Cyberpunk being such a mess it still sold 30 million.

i still need to go back and actually play Cyberpunk.  Had it since launch.  I played a bit and then stopped.

I liked a lot about it, and man did they sell a cool dream.

I finished Elden ring. It's a fantastic game. But it goes on a bit too much, and some bosses are just too difficult.

I hate bosses who regenerate health. But having bosses who regenerate health as they hit you is just crazy to me.

Also what's up with the spam attacks from software made for some of these bosses? Like seriously how on earth am I supposed to dodge and not get by these?

Anyways. Bloodborne is a better game. But Elden ring is fantastic too. I just need a break now before getting into the DLC. Play some games.

I finally bought cyberpunk 2077 with the DLC. So I'll probably play that next.

It's funny that on here the opinion towards elden ring has soured a bit.

Is that common elsewhere or is the main fanbase just as energized as at launch?

I feel like it's pretty common.

many like me bought into the hype of what they were going to do with open world only to be disappointed that it wasn't actually unique or interesting.   then the game wore on with far too many cloned encounters.

...and at least for me the pvp is by  far the worst ever.   for solo adventurerers it was fine but they made a passable coop experience a terrible experience.

I'm pretty sure Kitler was negative about it like a month after it came out.

I've been saying it's worse than Bloodborne since like an hour into my playthrough.

Quote from: the-Pi-guy on Feb 25, 2022, 05:05 PMIt's of course much too early to say too much. But my first impressions are that it will be really good, but I don't think it'll top Bloodborne for me personally. (But again, way too early to be sure)

It's a very mixed experience.

It's usually great, but some bosses feel more frustrating than they should be. The Souls games are generally much easier than these.

The Souls games generally follow the line of challenging and fun, extremely well and are satisfying.

Elden Ring has several bosses that are way over that line. They don't feel satisfying like you've figured it out, they feel like you just got lucky that time around.

I played this coop so that means I only played it on Thursdays.   I feel like it too more than a month to sour on it.

I mean, I soured a bit on night 1 when we found out you can't ride your mount in coop.   but I didn't really sour on it until the end of liurnia/caelid and the start of atlus.

Yup. This is a great description. Also the difficulty spike for some bosses is so crazy high, that if you level up to beat it, the area after it is very easy.

They need it tone it down. Just do an easy mode for fudges sake where bosses don't so as much damage.

I had to farm and reach an absolutely insane level just to best some of these bosses.

So, uhhhhhh...is there even any hype for Indiana jones since it releases this week. I've barely seen anything on the game except for the trailers PlayStation puts out.
