Star Citizen aliens. I didn't realise the game had more alien species than just the vandals.

Hasn't been in development anywhere near as long as either of those, and haven't heard any negatives of quality.

o.O

I could have sworn they announced it 4-5 years ago? Closest to TLG/FFvsXIII I meant :p - PC wise at least.

Single player campaign releases next year. Have you kept up with it at all?

Oh, there's actually SP content? My friend filled me on info about it until a few months ago. He uhh...disappeared. Since then really havent had any info on the game, been too busy looking at Pokemon/FinalFantasyXV/MassEffect/KingdomHearts/NintendoSwitch/Zelda/GodOfWar/etc.

4-5 years isn't really that long.
FFXV is 10 years now.

Yeah it has a single player game called Squadron 42. This acts as a prequel to the "MMO" side of Star Citizen. Was supposed to have released this year but it's been delayed.

Hope your friend's ok.

Depends, if his CPU and Ram is dead, just change them.  Unless they're stuck in their sockets (My P4 got stuck to its motherboard)

I got it fixed. There's a bug in intel's thermal monitor. I had to shut it off. I hope they get it fixed soon. It was thinking the pc was always overheating and down clocking it. But he's fully watercooled so it shouldn't hurt anything anyway.

How do water coolers work?  Do you have to change the water every day?

Well his is a closed system so never. But I think they change it when it starts to look poorly executed. Should be good for a few years.

I want a water cooled PC so bad. Mentally I just hate the idea of an open system. All that dust getting in there.

Mentally I hate the idea of a water-cooled system.  I know it's fine and all, but I don't feel comfortable with it.

Xi'An, Banu, Vanduul, Tevarin, and Kr'Thak.

That picture there is of the Tevarin. Humans fought two wars against them. The end of the first war saw us take over pretty much all of their territory. In a supremely sucker move, we even terraformed their homeworld and took it as one of our colonies. Years later, a warlord gathered together as many Tevarin as he could and assembled a huge battle fleet. Its sole purpose was pretty much to take back their home. They ended up losing but before the end he and his remaining warriors flew their ships directly towards their old home and allowed themselves to burn up in the atmosphere. This was back during a time when humanity was ruled by a nasty, xenophobic emperor who used the wars to solidify his power and ideals. The race is dying out slowly. They have no world to call their own. They rely on the other races to allow them to live. Many live in human territory but very few are ever given citizenship. Though there is one of them running to gain a seat in the senate.

Mentally, you're both weird.

Tried Rise of the Tomb Raider on my Skull Canyon... it wasn't pretty.  I just tried the benchmark, I didn't actually try playing anything.  There was a lot of stuttering, didn't matter what settings.   Some more advanced effects don't even show, like they turn white.  I think it's a driver issue more than anything, but oh well.  I'll see if turning off Direct X12 does anything.  If I decide to play it in my room I'll probably just stream it from my desktop downstairs.
