On May 20th — that's exactly two weeks from today — Transistor will be available on PlayStation 4! We have a bunch of new details to share, starting with the fact that you can preorder the game starting today, as soon as PlayStation Store updates.

Now that the game is almost ready, I wanted to get into some more nitty-gritty details about some of its features.
Transistor on PS4

For starters, Transistor features lots and lots of hand-painted 2D artwork, and thanks to PlayStation 4?s raw power, you'll get to experience it just as we intended in full HD 1080p resolution. That's a first for us on console.
Some months ago I also told you a little about how we're using DualShock 4?s light bar in sync with the voiceover in the game. At the end I hinted we were also looking into using the controller's built-in speaker. Turns out it works great, so we're pleased to offer a Controller Speaker option for a more personal feel. With the light bar and controller speaker working in unison, DualShock 4 becomes a direct analog for Red's mysterious, talkative weapon. We think this is a unique way of playing through the game, and we hope players will enjoy it.

Lastly (for now), let's talk about Trophies. Transistor has more than 30 Trophies, including a Platinum Trophy if you manage to unlock all the others. Our philosophy around Trophy design is we want players to discover the breadth, depth, and content of the game, and feel rewarded for it. Some of our Trophies concern hidden aspects of the game that we've purposely said nothing about, so we encourage you to discover these for yourself as you play! Though if you want look them all up and aren't worried about spoiling bits of it for yourself, that's cool too.

As May 20th fast approaches, we'll have more to share about the game right here. For now, be sure to catch my recent interview with PlayStation's Justin Massongill on the PlayStation Blogcast! Until next week!

Well, fudge. Does this work in Europe? I'd love the collection on Vita.

Also, aren't the PSP games coming to Vita as well?
Not sure if it works in EU, but you could give it a try.

Also, aren't the PSP games already on the Vita? You're talking about Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta right?
Legend made me remove this. Everybody riot.

You Can Get the God of War Collection for Free for Vita and PS3 if You Have PlayStation Plus

Looks like someone at Sony Entertainment Network pressed the wrong combination of buttons, as you can currently get the full version of the newly released God of War Collection for free if you have PlayStation Plus and you live in North America.

All you have to do is to go to the storefront, grab the free full game trials of God of War HD and God of War II HD for PS3. Then go to the God of War Collection (or search it on the storefront directly on your Vita), and select the PS Vita version. For some strange glitch of the cross-buy feature it'll be free, and you'll be able to "purchase" it.

Once purchased, it'll be all yours to download and play, and as the proverbial cherry on top, the cross-buy feature will go full circle and you'll also own the digital PS3 version.
This could definitely help those that, like me, own the retail disc version of the collection for PS3, and saw themselves excluded from the cross-buy deal.

Of course, since this is a most probably a glitch and not Sony Computer Entertainment feeling unbelievably generous, you may want to do the whole process as soon as possible, since it's not going to last long. Assuming that exploiting this kind of mistake agrees with your moral compass, of course.

"We all heard the stories over the years. Tales of a girl being out there, immune to all this madness. And we knew that those stories were nothing but wishfull thinking, fairytales passed along by the campfire.
Believing those stories was a good measure of my desperation. I needed to find that girl.
You, who followed me on this hopeless journey choose to do so. Some of you paid the ultimate price for that. For my belief... But here we are, we found the girl. We found the hope.

Be careful and don't let her bite you."

There's got to be some sort of medical condition for when you paint fanarts of the projects you actually worked on. Well I guess its not as much a fanart as a homage to one of the best games I've ever played. I tried to imagine what future holds for Ellie and Joel and came up with this image – Ellie few years older, practicing her tunes, being chased by a woman who will hesitate at nothing to find the cure and save her loved ones.
Again, its only my own imagination at works here so please don't board the "TLOU2 confirmed" hype train ;] Its a (deeply) personal image."
