Spoiler for Hidden:
"In the game's history, around the seventh or eighth centuries a small number of humans took on bestial traits. The majority of humans feared these half breeds and war broke out. Despite the humans outnumbering the half breeds, their animal strength gave them the upper hand in centuries of conflict.

Centuries later, humanity finds new hope in King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. King Arthur and his like-minded knights take the fight to the half breeds, but Arthur soon realizes it's a losing battle. Through a mysterious turn of fate The Knights discover Black Water, a mystical liquid that significantly extends their lifetimes and gives them remarkable healing abilities. Despite this new advantage the half breeds continue to win battle after battle, until the industrial Revolution turns the tide."

According to wikipedia the lycan have been around long before black water was discovered. Plus if black water made them become lycan, why would they keep using it? Modern tech that's helping them win the war could also be used to heal them if it was such a problem.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Yeah. OFFICIALLY the black water wasn't discovered until after the lycans. That could easily be the secret. That this black water is what turned them. It could also be lycan blood or a mixture from it that eventually turns someone into one. It could be that this liquid existed prior to the lycans and what the knights drink is a watered down version of it. Regardless, it was already implied way back that the black water has something to do with the lycans.

Spoiler for Hidden:
It was hinted but not officially established. It raises some pretty interesting questions, if true. Aside from the obvious, i'm also wondering what is the implication of Galahad getting bit by one. In the Bobby paige teaser it seemed like he wasn't in control of the "power". So, we have our MC turning into a sentient lycan, slowly by drinking black water, but also gets bit by one, which would turn him into a more mindless lycan... Wtf is going to happen to him? And is the discovery of the knight->lycan cycle the thing that causes him to turn against The Order?

Spoiler for Hidden:
Well of course they're not going to come out and just tell us because if there's a secret to it that would just ruin the surprise. I'm saying that a connection has already been made. We're not breaking new ground here. It is indeed interesting, though. To think about what may happen to Galahad by continued exposure and/or being bitten.
