Witcher 1 remake announced

I think it makes sense with the studio dropping their custom engine and moving to unreal. Good way to gain some hands on experience with the engine.

2 is dated but at least playable as a modern game right? Not as bad as the stuff shown in this video:

Witcher 2 is hard.  I've never really played more than the first hour because of the difficulty.  Not having much explanations for the magics outside of the tutorial hurts the combat too.  But it plays well enough if you know what you're doing.

Yeah I never played this and only a bit of 2 so will be fun to play this fresh and updated

A game that kind of needs a remake.

15 years old at this point, and not playable with a controller, and obviously not playable on console.

Good to see.
And the team can better achieve the original vision for the game since they dont have the technical and financial limitations anymore.
