I really should play my first resident evil game. 7 seems like a perfect point to jump in.

As you may have noticed, I'm playing the original... well remake of the original, right now.  I say start there with the remake.  So far it's been a better experience than the original (The remake is way more forgiving) and it will give you an idea of what Resident Evil is all about.

Ongoing summary:
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition: 10/28
Resident Evil Village PSVR2 talked about
Resident Evil: (RE:)Verse
Resident Evil 4

Nice that the showcase itself had a summary at the end.

Not gonna lie, I didn't like the terminology the guy was using when talking about the changes to Re4.  I can only hope they learned their lesson from RE3's remake...

A couple years ago I booted up the original original and noped out real quick. The remake would probably be pretty fun but I'd have to buy it. RE7 was on ps+

No news on Resident Evil 9 right?

Also will 4 be the last remake? Maybe they'd do 5 but 6 has a really poor legacy.
