Cyberpunk is still broken, even without the glitches*

*It is still an incredibly glitchy game.

I had to reload saves many many times and twice I had to revert back to older saves, but the game is at least "playable" now. This is just a small sample of the countless glitches I experienced.

(an NPC broke and had all these fist "weapons" on her, so they were stuck in my inventory for the rest of the game)

Cyberpunk's world had potential but is bad
Everything is empty, just window dressing. Unless there is a giant icon over something it's irrelevant 99% of the time. There are thousands of stores and street vendors yet only a handful can actually be interacted with. The first half of the game is just disappointedly learning that all locked doors are permanently locked and all open doors lead to nothing interesting. Driving around the world and ignoring fast travel is basically the only way to get really immersed in the city imo. Soak in the sights from a distance and move on before you can overthink things.

The minimap takes over gameplay. Driving, stealth, and even regular combat all prioritize what's on the map vs what's on the main screen. I wish navigation lines were in the world like most modern games, I wish vision cones and enemy tracking were in the world, and I wish offscreen enemy positions had a direction indicator while they were shooting you.

First Person is broken
Just like with doors, you have to spend the first chunk of the game learning what can and cannot be interacted with. Everything is so close and at times detailed, yet again only items with large icons matter. Until you learn to spam the loot ping system and treat it like Destiny, you're running around looking for things.

Picking up stuff is broken. Some times it's pretty easy to just suck up everything after a fight, while other times items just don't want to interact unless you're at the exact angle. Often times I had to look away from them slightly.

The camera is in your chest. This is common for shooters but is really bad feeling when standing directly in front of people. You feel short and if you look up or down, the camera moves far beyond a simple head tilt. In some ways I loved the dedication to immersion with long car rides and unbroken shots, yet why did they only go 99% of the way?

Cyberpunk is Pro Terrorism
Spoiler free story first.

The game's story is a disjointed mess. There was one specific character in the game I disliked and apposed at every turn. One mission the game let me say "I hate you with every cell in my body" while the next mission had me being their buddy.

The game marketed itself as an rpg and teases you with immersive role playing, but instead you're expected to just tell everyone what they want to hear. Person X thinks Y so you should think Y when around them. Main missions can't be failed as far as I can tell.

I was happy with my ending based off how I was roleplaying yet the game really really wanted me to feel differently. At one point I thought the game was being frustrating on purpose because it could have been a really powerful mechanic based off in game events, but that's obviously not the case once the whole package is taken into account.

Most of my enjoyment from the game came from me finding my own fun and writing my own story. I killed practically no one thanks to a non lethal mod and cleaned up the city while helping those in need.

Keanu's acting was also so incredibly bad most of the time. You can really tell he was just reading lines.

Some of the interactive cutscenes are parody levels of stupid. In this one the man stares out saying "Grand Imperial Mall, the biggest, ugliest temple to greed... but never finished." He's not talking about the massive towers, he's talking about a little mall below you.

Full game spoilers now.
Spoiler for Hidden:
Keanu Reeves' character is introduced as a terrorist that nuked a corporate tower and killed 14 thousand people in the blast. These facts are directly stated and not possible to be missed or taken out of context, yet the game immediately forgets them.

What the heck was the game thinking by putting a spotlight on this? Combined with Johnny taking over your mind and trying to kill you, I'd imagine many players will start off hating him like I did. Yet Misty and most early dialogue is so incredibly neutral. Many hours later the game shows Johnny being horrible to his girlfriend, which the player can show disgust towards.

It's as if the game couldn't decide between the "Johnny is evil but you grow to like him" arc or the "Johnny is a fun guy but actually really evil once you get to know him" arc. The game just overlaps both and forces you to experience them simultaneously.

My ending had me recovering from surgery on an orbital space station. It was cool having the 2x2x2 cube and the purple color, but was also frustrating how the game tried to paint the experience as bad. My dad recently just spent a month in hospitals + rehabilitation and seeing a little bit of progress each day was beyond wonderful. The game shows you getting better yet it wants you to feel angry instead.

In general I think it's just an edgy angry game. Every ending has a mixed outcome and tries to make you feel bad about something.
TLDR
Watch Dogs Legion did it better, but Cyberpunk has a lot of incredible elements if you don't mind sifting through the complete package. I genuinely loved it at times, I genuinely hated it at times, and I was having to find my own fun most of the time.

Sadly most of the more extreme glitches seem to be gone. I only got stuck inside an object once :'(
