I'm reading the era thread..

so now Xbox players are paying full price for their "free" Forza game to get a few days early access and some dlc expansions to a game incomplete at launch.  

so dumb but with Forza over 1m co-current players in the early access period I promise this will happen with all Ms games going forward.   

basically the argument that PlayStation games are too expensive at $70 is void imo.  MS first party now costs $100 unless with a 50% discount for those that pay a $180 subscription. 

...at least you "own" your $70 games.   ms's $50 games are unplayable if you cancel your sub.

exactly.  every Ms game will be designed around this business model.  their defenders assured us gamepass wouldn't lead to the GaaSification of games but it pretty clear it already has.

I'm even more sure I don't want to buy gamepass now.  Ms is the reason we all have to pay for online gaming,..  I don't want to contribute to this obvious ploy to make all gaming a very expensive rental.
