Bioware Montreal is now a support studio. Some members were sent to EA Motive to help with Battlefront 2. Mass Effect will be going away for awhile.

Well that sucks but totally not a shocker. This game was a spinoff itself so no reason to make a sequel.

If mass effect returns, it'd either be a new spinoff or somehow in the original trilogy.
