Yeah the lost work isn't too much real work, but the primary issue is that I lose all my incognito tabs. I had ~50 open for various things I was in the middle of researching. Maybe I just need to switch that habit and keep those tabs open another way that doesn't clutter my day to day tabs.
I think it worked!

I have an update that wants to restart and it says it will outside active hours, but after 2 days the icon in the corner just disappeared.

Now I can just be work focused and update on my schedule (which is once a year, why would you ever restart a pc?).

Built my youngest brother / parents a PC.

It's a lot of work, but it is a lot of fun for me.

My NAS has been a little off lately.

Generally fine after a restart, and is mostly fine.

But i've had a few randomly occuring issues lately.

- when I was moving a lot of files, it got hung up a few times. Which I think for this I was moving like a TB of data. But it actually seemed like there were a couple of specific files that were causing it to crash.

When moving files from another computer, it suddenly got very slow, and actually crashed file explorer on the other computer.

This popped up a few times in the span of a week, but it hasn't had any issues since, which was a couple of months ago now.

- today, very randomly froze. I noticed because it suddenly dropped off the network. There's a way to reboot Ubuntu, but it wasn't working.

Any clue what the problem is? Just general build up of gunk, or hardware issues?

Really not sure.

It's been sporadic. Fine one week, minor issues the next.

Weirdly enough it's been great the past couple months.

Need another 18 TB drive, but they're expensive right now.

I was getting them like $200 for a used one, and like $300 for a new one. Right now they're like $100 more.

My friend wanted to make a PC, so I've been looking at prices and stuff.

Prices are stupid

PC cases are even stupider.

Just get a cheap bad case. Don't be like my brother. He cares about what his pcs LOOK LIKE!
